In the U.S., Bombus borealis is an eastern boreal (northern) species that spans the Canadian-U.S. border. In South Dakota it occurs in the northeast and in Illinois and Ohio it has very rarely been recorded in the far north. It may rarely occur in the far northern parts of Iowa and Indiana as well. |
