I
am a recently graduated PhD student from the University of California,
Berkeley in
the department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management. I am
interested in a broad range of evolutionary and ecological issues, and
my dissertation research focused largely on population genetic
patterns associated with invasive species and their natural
enemies. I am currently at the University of Illinois working on
population genetics of declining North American bumble bee (Bombus)
species as a post-doc in Sydney
Cameron's
lab. My research involves trying to reconstruct the population
structure and demographic history of declining and expanding bumble bee
species in association with a series of events that are hypothesized to
have contributed to these changes in range and abundance.
